EXCURSIONS

Teachers may take the classes they teach on excursions in accordance with the topics they teach.  Teachers plan their excursions in order to put theory into practice and to meet the needs of the students’ learning.  The Teacher organising the excursion will write a letter to the parents. Permission slips and the required money should be returned to the subject teacher as promptly as possible and prior to the excursion.

All excursions are a compulsory part of the Schoo curriculum and unless there is a good reason for not attending, all students should attend. Students who do not attend these activities without a valid reason will  be disadvantaged academically.

Students are required to wear school uniform whilst attending their excursion. Students must abide by all the rules and listen to the teacher. Students who misbehave on excursions may not be allowed to attend from future excursions.

There will be a charge to attend excursions. Parents will be advised of the costs of , which are kept to minimum; and the full payment is required prior to the excursion.



CAMPS

Students in Years 7 to 10 may also have to attend the Camps. These camps take place in some beautiful wild and mountainous country and great care is taken to pass on the need for environmental friendly behaviour. Independence, initiative and responsibility are encouraged and students achieve much satisfaction from attaining their best response to  physical, mental and socially challenging programmes.

All camps are a compulsory part of the curriculum and unless there is a good reason for not attending, all students sholud attend.

Students and Parents will be notified well in advance what camps are planned and Parents` permission will be sought.
