STUDENTS' RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The rules of the School and behavior expected in every classroom are based on our Rights and Responsibilities, which is an expectation of a considerate manner and behavior by staff and students alike, to each other This creates an expectation of a common considerate manner by staff and students alike, towards each other.



RIGHTS OF STUDENTS

 

  • To be free to learn in a safe, healthy and secure environment;
  • To express themselves openly;
  • To access high quality schooling;
  • To achieve to their best capability;
  • To forge healthy interpersonal relationships;
  • To be treated equally with respect.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES OF STUDENTS

 

  • To alwyas be respectful and courteous to Teachers and Staff;
  • To comply with the School rules;
  • To respect the freedom, rights and roles of others;
  • To respect the environment and surroundings;
  • To be prepared and ready to learn;
  • To aspire to fulfil their individual potential;
  • To contributea nd participate in class;
  • To behave in a courteous manner at all times;
  • To make appropriate decisions regarding physical and mental well-being and cleanliness;
  • To always present well and in proper uniform.



Rules act as a guideline to help us determine whether our course of action is going to interfere with or aid others around us who are attempting to satisfy their own goals.
